EMU Health Sciences Faculty Introduces Firsts!

Eastern Mediterranean University, Health Sciences Faculty academic staff members, in collaboration with the Body Building and Fitness Federation, organised a course entitled “1st Stage Body Building and Fitness Trainer” in Famagusta. Upon the completion of the said course, 19 participants received their certificates at a ceremony which took place at EMU Health Sciences Faculty.

During the ceremony, Chair of the Body Building and Fitness Federation Ali Dahlameroğlu delivered a speech in which he stated that further courses as such will be organised in Famagusta. Dahlameroğlu also extended his appreciation and gratitude to the academic staff members of EMU for their contributions and support. Highlighting the importance paid to training by their federation, Dahlameroğlu added that prominent sports players operating under their federation have recently received important awards including world championships.

Dahlameroğlu also recommended that special importance and interest is put on young generations and provided information on their projects regarding child fitness. Dahlameroğlu added that in this respect, a three staged fitness hall is being constructed on an area of 820 m2. Dahlameroğlu put forth that the said sports hall will have three distinct parts including closed, open and fitness pools.
