FZTT106   Electrophysical Agents

Basic physiological principles, currents of low and high frequencies, application methods, innovations in electrotherapy, straight galvanic currents, iontopheretic, medical and surgical galvanism, low frequency currents, diadynamic currents, interferential currents, applications related to functional electronic situmilations.

FZTT200   Summer Internship

Students will apply the knowledge they have gained throughout the programme. They will find the opportunity to use electrotherapeutic heat- light and hydrotherapy agents during 15 working days.

FZTT201   Massage Applications

Mechanism of action of the classical massage, techniques, indicated and contraindicated states, correct positioning, partial applications, deep friction massage and its application. The history of Connective Tissue Manipulation (C.T.M), it's mechanism of actions, reflex areas of the C.T.M, applications of C.T.M to main and other parts.

FZTT202      Professional Practice – I

Within the scope of the 'Professional Practice' , the students would have the opportunity to practice the knowledge they have gained for 20 working days on general physiotherapy in hospitals and /or health centers.

Within the scope of the 'Professional Practice' course, the students would have the opportunity to practice the knowledge they have gained  for 20 working days on orthesis and prosthesisin hospitals and/or health centers.

FZTT206     Professional Practice- III

Within the scope of the 'Professional Practice' course, the students would have the opportunity to practice the knowledge they have gained  for 20 working days on  internal and surgical illnessesin hospitals and/or health centers.

FZTT213   Introduction to Orthesis Prosthesis

Definitions of orthesis and prosthesis, aims, partial foot prosthesis, mid-calf prosthesis, hip disarticulation and prosthesis, upper extremity prosthesis, hand and wrist, lower elbow, upper elbow prosthesis, shoulder disarticulation and prosthesis, lower and upper extremity orthesis, using prosthesis in columna vertebralis illnesses and problems.

The main knowledge related to the usage of heat agents, theories of the usage of heat agents during suffering, physiological features and physiological effects of heat, heat sources, physiological features and applications of ultraviolet and laser.

Inability, disability and handicap terms, causes of defects, personality development in defected children, psychosocial approaches at visually impaired people, psychosocial approaches at hearing and speaking impaired people, approaches at neuromuscular and traumatic disorders, pscholosocial approaches at mentally retarded patients.
