EMU Health Sciences Faculty Organised a Poetry Night

Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Health Sciences Faculty with the support of Othello Poetry Group and Turkish Cypriot Poets, a poetry reading event took place on Friday, 12 June 2015.

During the event, Turkish Cypriot poets Dr. Arif Albayrak, Bülent Fevzioğlu, Fatma Akilhoca, Bedia Balses and Dervişe Güneyyeli Kutlu shared their own poems with the audience. Following the Turkish Cypriot poets, Faculty of Health Sciences student Ümit Baki read Ahmet Kutsi Tecer's poem entitled 'Where Are You?', Senay Kansel shared Atol Behramoğlu's poem 'There is Something I Learnt from What I Have Experienced', Gülenay Bektaş read Nazım Hikmet's poem 'Tahir and Zühre' and Özgehan Giriş shared Can Yücel's poem 'I Understand'.
