EMU Department of Sports Sciences Student Berk Ekensoy Achieves International Success

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Sports Sciences student and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Jiu Jitsu National Team athlete Berk Ekensoy made EMU and our country proud with his achievements in France.

At the Paris Spring International Open 2018 Tournament Berk Ekensoy who competed for the national team came first in the Nogi-Gi category, second in the Gi-Open category and third in the Gi category. Regarding EMU Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Sports Sciences student Berk Ekensoy’s success Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Mehtap Malkoç underlined the importance of such achievements for both EMU and the country, congratulating Ekensoy and wishing the continuation of his success.
