EMU Faculty of Health Sciences Attends Seminar on Exercise

The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Health Sciences supported the “Prescription in Health and Sports: Exercise” themed seminar organized by the Cyprus Turkish Physiotherapist Association within the scope of the 8^th of September World Physiotherapist Day.

The seminar aimed towards physiotherapists took place on Friday, the 7^th of September 2018 at the Gönyeli Municipality. It was supported by expert EMU Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation academicians who attended the seminar. EMU Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Mehtap Malkoç was moderator of the session “The Knee in Exercise and Sport”.

EMU’s Expert Academicians Participated In The Sessions

During the seminar, presentations were delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Berkiye Kırmızıgil, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sevim Öksüz and expert dietician Sılay Dal from EMU under the sessions “Is it easy to continue living a healthy life?”, “Are musculoskeletal injuries in sport inevitable?” and “Exercise methods for a health life”.
