The Eastern Mediterranean University has announced that face-to-face (with distancing measures) education model will be implemented during the 2021-2022 Academic Year, Fall Semester.
EMU put forth that in line with the TRNC Council of Ministers' decision titled “Regulation of Registration, Education and Course Attendance Conditions in TRNC Universities, Restricted with the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester" published in the Official Gazette dated 21.06.2021, face-to-face (with distancing measures) education model will be implemented".
At a meeting held on 1 September, 2021, the EMU Senate underlined that taking into account the decisions of the TRNC Council of Ministers, they attach utmost importance to the health and well-being of the students as well as all academic and administrative staff. The EMU Senate also stated that the face-to-face (with distancing measures) education model will be adopted in the Fall Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year. According to the decision of the Senate, during all educational activities, maximum attention will be paid towards adhering to the “EMU Covid-19 Pandemic Guide and Action Plan" prepared by the Pandemic Board.
