Dear Students,
The Communicable Diseases Supreme Committee has announced the revised quarantine periods, taking into account the current conditions. Accordingly, fully-vaccinated persons (who have received 2 doses of Janssen or 3 doses of other vaccines) who have become a contact with a person with Covid 19 will continue their daily activities wearing a mask and through monitoring their symptoms. Such people will have antigen tests on the 5th day if they do not have any symptoms, and earlier if they display symptoms.
Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated persons will isolate themselves for 7 days and will take a PCR test at the end of the 7th day. If the result is negative, their isolation will come to an end. In case of a positive result, the Covid-19 positive patient follow-up process will commence.
In order to have a healthy 2021-22 Academic Year Fall Semester final exam period, fully vaccinated persons (who have received 2 doses of Janssen or 3 doses of other vaccines) will be admitted to the exam rooms after they have submitted a negative antigen or PCR test result obtained within the last 7 days. Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated persons will be allowed in the exam rooms after they have submitted a negative antigen or PCR test result obtained within the last 72 hours.
To ensure a problem-free exam period, students are required to have their Vaccination Cards, Antigen/PCR Negative Test results and student ID cards (if not available, Passport, Driver's Licence, Identity Card) with them and present them to the authorities upon request.
We wish you all a successful exam period.
